Indian Fashion Blog: Travel Diaries - Spectacular Dubai

Dubai, nestled in the Persian Gulf, is one of the most spectacular and easily accessible places known for its modern architecture, nightlife scene, luxury shopping, manmade islands and underwater hotels. It is a cosmopolitan city and constitutes of local-born Emirates that make up only 12% of the population.

Fun facts:
1. Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates, well-known for luxury shopping, its ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife. You can also explore and enjoy the man-made islands along with the beautiful Atlantis, the Palm Resort that offers a scenic view of the marine life.

2. Burj Khalifa, an 830metre tall tower dominates the skyline. At its foot, lies the Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music.

Travelling tips: - If you plan to visit Dubai during the end of December, then ensure you make your bookings beforehand. You can also plan it around Dubai Shopping Festival which happens every year in January. Weekends in Dubai begin from Thursday nights, so you should plan your visit accordingly. One must experience the delectable culinary delights and indulge in the lavish hotels in Dubai. Some of the accommodation options are JW Mariott Hotel and Citymax Hotel Dubai.

JW Mariott Hotel offers deluxe rooms which are perfect for a high-end vacation and rejuvenation. It is in the vicinity of Hamarain Centre and Deira City Cente. You can pamper yourself with recreational amenities including the health club and indoor/outdoor pool. Some of the other amenities are limo/town service, spa, an express check-in, roundtrip airport shuttle service and a computer station.

Citymax Hotel Dubai also offers standard rooms which are perfect if you looking for a wallet-friendly option. Smaller travel budgets shouldn't mean less comfort. At Citymax Hotels, part of the hospitality division of the Landmark Group, you can avail 4-star quality comforts, at 3-star rates in Dubai.
