Indian Fashion Blog - Food Review - Kipos Bar and Eatery

Kipos is the latest addition to the Bandra 'newbies' in Mumbai. The new bar and eatery squeezes in on the 5th floor of the Crystal Mall where there are already bars like Big Bang, bonobo, etc in the vicinity. Check out more details on Askme.comKipos intrigues with pristine white details while taking care not to overwhelm. We walked in on a Sunday and the place was swarming with people.

The menu is exhaustive including the usual deli fare and greek food comprising of salads and soups, greek wraps, wood fired pizzas, burgers and grilles.
Coming to the meal, we started with Bruschetta (grilled baguette rubbed with garlic and topped with tomato bell peppers, zucchini, feta cheese and fresh basil) which was okay. I honestly could not make sense of all the hype about this dish on Zomato reviews. We also relished hummus made with grilled chicken while we ditched the pita bread avoiding unnecessary carbs.
Coming to the mains, we were already full but our tummies intrigued and taste buds piques we could not wait to try grilled chicken with chickpeas sauce (chicken breast grilled and served on the bed of saute veggies, rosemary potatoes and signature chickpea sauce). The dish was obviously the star of the evening and executed to perfection.
We had a great time enjoying the music with some good food. A perfect way to soothe the frazzled nerves on Sunday evening and prep for the week ahead!

I could not get enough slurp worthy images that is because of the poor lighting.

Cuisine: Greek, Mediterranean

What I like?
- Great food, chill vibes and music that makes you groovy!
- It does stand out from the other places in the vicinity.
- Great service even when the place was packed

What I dont like?
- The music was too loud on a sunday evening if you sit inside. Dont expect a quiet evening with some good conversation.

Pocket Pinch: 1300 INR for two without alcohol (including taxes)

Verdict: Loved everything "Greek". Kipos has a great vibe and amazing food.
They also have Karaoke nights on Tuesdays and Sunday brunches.

Where?: 5th floor, Crystal Mall, off Linking road, Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra - 400050
