Indian Fashion Blog - Restaurant Review - Bombay Cocktail Bar
Bombay opened its doors to another one of the happening bars with pulsating club beats and scrumptious food. Cocktail bars are now a rage, attracting young professionals and a set of socialites.
After a heart conversation with the owner. We got to know that he has been in the food industry for more than a decade, from being a chef to a successful entrepreneur. His another venture called Blanco bar and eatery in Andheri is also a must-visit for a lively ambience and culinary delights.
The place channels a look of casual sophistication with a hint of eccentricity, featuring wooden dinnerware and dark furniture. There is a huge bar which takes the spotlight.
The menu is exhaustive from comfort food, a variety of cocktails, finger food, Indian food, Mumbai special mouth-watering dishes to a plenty of healthy options. However, I liked the fact that it is kept simple with no complicated names. Even on a weekday, it was swarmed with people.
We started with chilli chicken which was sizzling hot and executed to perfection. While we waited for our non-veg platter, we also ordered boti-kebab and paneer burji (scrambled cottage cheese stir fried) from their comfort food section.
With our tummies intrigued and taste buds piqued, we waited for our mains. While I enjoyed Lebanese Roast Chicken, V relished his Nalli Nihari chicken with some bread.

Verdict:
A very classy and sassy place with luxe ambience that oozes oodles of panache. Surely, a great place to let your hair down and soothe the unfrazzled nerves. For a quite night, go on a weekday for culinary marvels.
What I like:
- A happy place with a plenty of healthy options like salads, kebabs and grills. Never thought there will be so many healthy options in their exhaustive and simple menu.
- It is on till 3:00 AM on weekends. Hence, another winner for the party-goers.
- It is also a perfect place for weekend indulgence and to feel mellow. It serves a steamy mix of cocktails and mocktails. It does get clubby post 10:00 PM.
- Though the place is upscale it is quite pocket-friendly. It is fine dining place and perfect for special occasions.
What I didn't like:
- I have this section so I can always give my honest feedback and suggestions. However, there is honestly nothing that I did not like about Bombay Cocktail Bar.
Fit As A Fiddle recommends:
- Mumbai Special Paneer Bhurji
- Grilled fish/Grilled chicken with veggies
- Paneer Bhurji is another comfort food and high on protein.
