Indian Fashion Blog - Restaurant Review - Me So Happi

Me So Happi has been an addition in Bandra for quite some time now. We visited early Sunday evening to find the restaurant rapidly moving towards a full house. The ambience of the place is interesting and lively with some quirky elements and graffiti wall. The menu is exhaustive that includes the usual deli fare and food comprising of salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers and grills.

After conversation with Aarthi, the owner of the place gave us a brief about the place and the name, how the food always made her happy and it is named ‘happi’ and not happy which signifies the continuing tense for happiness.

Few days back only Me so Happi opened its door to the public on carter road as QSR format which I saw while running there. After a hearty conversation with the owner Aarthi, we got to know that they are opening another outlet in BKC.

Commencing our tryst with the ‘happi’ meal, we started with salads. Intrigued by the ingredients we ordered 'Octopus Salad with Chestnuts, Leafys With Green Mango Drizzle'The salad was without the real octopus though so can’t really comment much.
'Chèvre Roasted Vegetable Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette' that we dug into was presented and executed so well. Thumbs up to their Christmas special salad. If you are not a salad person then refrain from ordering this.

The chef recommended their Christmas Special 'Mini Mince Pies' which I didn’t have much being a health freak but V could not stop salivating these yummy small cupcakes with minced meat in it.

Coming to the mains, we were already full but our tummies intrigued and taste buds piqued I could not wait to try the healthy-wealthy catch of the day fish served with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was lip smacking indeed! Cherry on the top was that the fish was rawas and not basa which is served in most of the restaurants here.
'Mushroom Spinach Goat Cheese Phylo with Pomegranate and Cous-cous' is to die for. It was better than I had expected.

I am surely not the master of taking slurp worthy images but I had to take the picture of the dessert. Their Christmas 'Special Orange Zabaglione and Belgium Chocolate Mousse with Exotic Fruits' was mind blowing. It was just a simple dessert which was tweaked and looked so pretty and delicious.

Lively and quirky ambience
Now this is what is called colorful, healthy and clean eating!

Verdict:
The place has everything from comfort food to healthy food and caters to all the people. If you looking for culinary marvels, chill vibes and music that makes you groovy then look no further than Me So Happi. It surely lives up to its name, just like the Santa recommends you get delicious and comforting meal for the perfect Christmas.

What I like?
The quirky and lively ambience that will cheer you up and soothe your frazzled nerves.
- The service was exceptional. I am not only referring to my table but I even noticed them serving other tables very promptly.
- Was ‘happi’ to see many healthy options like grills and brown rice options. It is a perfect place to satiate all your meal cravings.

What I don’t like?
Nothing really, may be they could accommodate few more healthy options like whole wheat sandwiches, thin crust pizzas and whole wheat pastas.

Fit As A Fiddle recommends:
Catch of the day - rawas fish from the regular menu truly lives up to its name.
- Their Christmas special dish 'Mushroom Spinach Goat Cheese Phylo with Pomegranate and Cous-Cous' was innovative and executed to perfection without trying too had.
