So My Glamm services had approached me few months back to review their services and I was in Amritsar for wedding preps. Finally I had the pleasure to avail their services and get pampered at home.
So this weekend I took an appointment for gel nail paint and hair spa. After all the hair styling during my wedding functions and travelling, my hair have become super dry and frizzy. I have been oiling my hair regularly these days (trust me, that works the best). But I thought of pampering myself and try the Moroccan Ritual spa.
Procedure:
The two beautician came before time and started working simultaneously. They were well equipped and carried disposable sheets for the floor as well as to keep their tools. I was getting gel nail paint done for the first time. They apply many layers starting from the base coat to multiple layers of final nail paint. After that the nails are dried in UV light device.
The hair spa was the usual and so was the massage. Before beginning the application they asked me to shampoo my hair. I let the hair mask sit in my hair for a few hours and washed it off while bathing.
The Glamm Team has brought the French L'OCCITANE Spas, the New York based Warren Tricomi Salons and the fashionable ELLE Spas & Salons. Surely hair, nails, spa and beauty experience at your doorstep. What more can you ask for!
They have also launched MyGlamm, a mobile App for on-demand hair, beauty and nail services which I have not tried yet.
- I am totally loving my gel nails and well behaved hair (though I know it will go back to the usual after wash).
- They asked me to share the experience but I liked it so much that I signed up as their permanent member by paying 500 INR to get 20% off on all the services. I am getting an appointment again this weekend for waxing.
- Nothing like getting pampered and rejuvenated at home with My Glamm. All you have to do is pick up time, date and location according to your convenience.
What I like?
- The staff is very professional and came before time. There were separate beautician for hair and nails.
- They even beat salons on hygiene factor. They carried proper sheets and used sanitizer. Also, no hassle of cleaning up afterwards.
- There are no taxes, service charges and other hidden charges as they come at your doorstep and work as a freelancer.
- They are available all 7 days a week as per as your convenience.
- The prices are pocket friendly and in fact cheaper than many salons around in Mumbai.
What I didnt like?
- They could have more services for men like hair color so that I could call them for my hubby also.
