Indian Fashion Blog - Health Diaries Vol 8

Here are some of the snippets of my health diaries which I posted on Instagram. My day is incomplete without working out. They say your workout is an important meeting that you schedule with yourself, and bosses don't cancel.
Honestly, you can't really settle down to one vegan, gluten free, soy free, raw, non GMO, fat free, low carb meal, organic and antibiotics free meal. Remember, balance is the key. One should eat well and it is okay to indulge once in a while. Do not starve, but don't eat crap everyday.

Sprouts salad. I usually boil sprouts (green moong) along with few veggies. Add pomegranate for an element of sweetness and season it with salt, pepper and lemon. It is yummy and healthy.
I have already been using GAIA products. I use their stevia and Spirulina on regular basis. I can't wait to try the olive oil and assorted variety of green teas. Their products are available online and in all supermarkets.
Yummy healthy dinner. Grilled chicken with veggies and fresh basil leaves on the bed of mashed potatoes
Purple for "Her" and Black for "Him" - FITBIT is the new fitness band that was recently launched in India
My healthy shopping groceries which I picked up from the gym after a sunday workout.
Awesome workout and mandatory post workout selfie after breaking a sweat. Thanks to amazing Fitbit that helps me track my sleep, workouts and calories. It is available on Amazon.

So glad Fitbit came in my life that I can track my workouts and sleep as well. Notice that on non workout days I burnt far less calories vis-a-vis on workout days. The days you workout esp strength training or functional training you burn more calories throughout the day. Note that calories here are based on my weight, height and goals.
My favorite quest bars. One of the best nutrition bars in the world.
My new Whey Protein Isolate! It is important that protein remains an integral part of your diet. There are all myths about side-effects and that it is needed only if you workout. Whether you workout or not everyone needs protein. However, the quantity depends on your goals and requirements.
