Perhaps a cool new buzzword for photo sharing and clicking is Picpal now. Selfie, clearly was the word of the year last time and surely Picpal is living up to that. There is nothing like sharing experiences with friends no matter where they are. It is surely all about living in the moment.
Here is what you need to do:
- Start by inviting new friends. You can invite up to three Picpal friends.
- Take your photo (while they take theirs).
- Watch your real time moments become a Picpal collage.
The app has all other social media channels integrated. You can log in through Facebook and heart the pictures and comment on your favorites. I keep checking out social media apps, picture apps and photo editing apps. It is surely the new Snapchat as you can add text to your selfies. The app also puts together the collage itself which can be shared across. Whatever collage you want to create it can be made at the touch of the button,
If it is your friend’s birthday and all of your friends are not around, Picpal will work for you as a perfect real time collage making app to send a birthday message. A great way to keep in touch with your friends you care about or to make your long distance relationship better.
Picpal is compatible with all the OS platforms. It requires iOS 7.0 or later and is compatible with iphone 5, ipad and ipod touch and is optimized for iphone 5, iphone6 and iphone 6 plus. Its also available on Android.
What I like?
- You can create live selfie hangouts with friends.
- It combines social media, real time collages and the omnipresent selfie which has become our daily staple now.
- A very personalized app which is also serves as an outlet for creativity.
What I don't like?
- You can invite only three friends at a time on the app.
- There is an option to send requests to your friends only through Facebook, Facebook Messenger and iMessage.
