Look Of The Day - Bold Prints

Finally a new road will be taken and a new path will be explored when a new direction has been given by life. I am moving to Kolkata as I got through NIFT for Masters in Fashion Management after going through their grueling process and round of exams. I have been blogging for a year, working as a style consultant, freelance writer and taking care of family business of textiles. But I have always had the hunger to learn more and this course will help me grow and understand fashion from business perspective. It is hard to get back to studies when you have been working and earning. But never mind things happen to us for our own good.
After my college years in Bangalore I have enjoyed a comfortable and lavish lifestyle at home amidst rich punjabi culture. I mean not 'Paris Hilton' lifestyle but I have been content and happy. Life seems to be on a roller coaster ride. Loads is yet to come and needs to be discovered. I am left with a whirl of thoughts which will unfold their mystery as the time will fleet.
At this moment I can never forget these beautiful lines which we learnt in school but understand now better.
“Woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep"

Coming to the outfit, just a simple floral printed dress. Most of my outfits have a story, an emotion and a feeling of smugness. Bold prints do not suit all body types. So make sure you pick the dress with right amount of print. I paired it with a nude colored bag and a purple colored asymmetrical shrug which has been worn several ways. I kept the accessories to minimum to not to subdue the print. Here take a look.

I am wearing
Floral printed dress - Flea Market, Goa
Ballerina Shoes - Andheri Lokhandwala Market, Mumbai
Asymmetrical Shrug - Honey, Bangalore Central, Bangalore
Belt - ZARA
Sling Bag - ZARA

DISCLAIMER
For those who are viewing this page. I ought to tell you this that It is my opinion and my blog. I am a dictator of taste but I don't inflict myself on you, Period. It is okay to have your own opinion. It is okay to dislike and even criticize. It is okay to think others are jobless and not worth it. It is okay to be jealous of others and mock at them, grimace and continue brooding over it . But you are nobody to inflict yourself and your beliefs on others. You might harbor resentment but the problems springs up when you raise your voice publicly and when your comments will be a slur on others. Because in the process you will be hurting someone and such actions will only demean the person.
I tell you, everyone has their own beliefs and faith in something, even our own opinions and ideas change. But you cant meddle in or snoop into someone's affairs and look  down on them when nobody came up to you personally.
I would just say lead your own life in a good way. I had read these beautiful lines somewhere, “Work on self improvement so that you don’t have time for criticizing others.”
It is your choice and it is my choice. What choices I make, it defines me. I have all the love for the people who visit my blog and appreciate my efforts and my interests. I would humbly bow down. XOXO.
