Look Of the Day - An Ode to Winters (2/2)
It is a stunning vista and I am momentarily paralyzed by the view. I traverse the path unknown and leap into the darkness. The roads are bumpy. The destination is never ending. I try to get past the rough path hoping that it will shape me into a better person. The broken wings take time to get fixed. I falter at every step and every move I make. I savor my few hours of freedom and solitude. My mind is in dilemma and I cannot stick to one train of thoughts. May be it is all just a delusion. I find it liberating to let things go. It keeps me going. Every cloud has a silver rising. I hold my head up and shine without looking back.
Some beautiful lines for you:
"I can not give you the formula for success; but I can give you the formula for failure — which is: 'Try to please everybody'"

DISCLAIMER
For those who are viewing this page, I ought to tell you this that it is my opinion and my blog. I am a dictator of taste but I don't inflict myself on you, Period. It is okay to have your own opinion. It is okay to dislike and even criticize. It is okay to think others are jobless and not worth it. It is okay to be jealous of others and mock at them, grimace and continue brooding over it . But you are nobody to inflict yourself and your beliefs on others. You might harbor resentment but the problems springs up, when you raise your voice publicly and when your comments will be a slur on others. In the process you will be hurting someone and such actions will only demean the person.
I tell you, everyone has their own beliefs and faith in something, even our own opinions and ideas change. But you cant meddle in or snoop into someone's affairs and look down on them when nobody came up to you personally.
I would just say lead your own life in a good way. I had read these beautiful lines somewhere, “Work on self improvement so that you don’t have time for criticizing others.”
It is your choice and it is my choice. What choices I make, it defines me. I have all the love for the people who visit my blog and appreciate my efforts and my interests. I would humbly bow down. XOXO.

I LOVE the overcoat and the boots!
ReplyDeleteI read the disclaimer and found a certain sense of bluntness , attitude and hard hitting thoughts. The idea is pretty clear if you can't create happiness you have no right to assemble filth that is inconvenient for others around you. Appreciate your honesty and candidness.
ReplyDeleteI suggest that everyone should take a lonely walk like the one you portrayed "An ode to the Winters". Common' there is something called a personal space and one has every right to steal it and relish it.
If you find time please read one of my blog posts The Pending Journey http://viveksheel-blog.blogspot.in/2012/07/pending-journey.html resonating the same thoughts as of your blog post. Happy to discover your blog.
Cheers !!
