Mamagoto - Food Review - Heads-Up Food Buffs

Mamagoto - Food Review - Heads-up Food Buffs
Okay, I love this fuzzy and snazzy restaurant. One really gets bored of the influx of crowd at the malls and eating at the usual food court. So my visit to this asian restaurant was a mere chance while crossing the food court swarmed with people. Does not the name sound sassy and funky? The literal translation is ’to play with food’.

I am in love with the quirky ambience of Mamagoto. The walls adorned interesting decor and makes you feel like you are in a fantasy theme restaurant. The place is a fun and casual take on Asian cuisine. Btw, Have you noticed you see so much diversity at malls? I wish I could capture the eclectic mix of crowd and their essence of style and persona.

Here is what all ‘V’ and I ate. I savored all the dishes but the portions were decent. In a nutshell, the place gives a happy and soothing vibe.
Teriyaki meal in a bowl
Fried sticky rice with egg along with tossed thinly cut lamb or tofu with ginger, spring onions, onions and garlic

Classic Chicken + leek yakitori (4 skewers)
(A Japanese dish of chicken pieces grilled on a skewer)

Mamagoto Special

Classic Chicken + leek yakitori (4 skewers)
Teriyaki meal in a bowl
Mamagoto Special

I highly recommend this place and suggest that you take a break from the usual cuisines. A perfect rejuvenation therapy for the outgoing people who love exotic varieties of food.

Place: S-09, 2nd Floor, Select Citywalk Mall
Saket, Delhi
Meal For Two at Mamagoto: 1500 INR (Approx.)
Rating: 3.5/5
