GUILT FREE VACATION

We pine for a vacation to break free from daily chores. I know it can be disappointing when all our workout sessions go down the drain. There is no point brooding over it because we are going for a holiday and it is time to lose ourselves.

I got back from a vacation and I have few cool tips to share with you without being so hard on yourself.

- First get this thing in every nerve ending in your body to keep yourself dehydrated. Carry a bottle of water all the time with you. Remember you are already dehydrated by the time you are thirsty.

- You hog away to glory. I know you are on a vacation and you give yourself a passport to pig out. But you can at least go for healthy snacking. Why not carry few almonds and walnuts in your bag? Trust me it is the healthiest snack option and wont occupy much space in your bag. Check out my post - All About Nuts.

- Ok I am not asking too much from you. Carry an apple with you. It is a fat burning food.

- You can also keep few green tea bags in your bag. I did that and it really saved me. All you need is hot water and it will pump you up. Green tea with few drops of lemon is the most refreshing thing on this earth. Believe me these words are coming from a ‘coffeeholic’. I am a coffee-addict but I make sure I compensate on this because it keeps me revved up.

While eating out you can probably go for whole wheat meals, low fat cheese with whole wheat pasta, tacos, nachos with low fat cheese, salads with olive oil and light dressing.

Happy Holidays!

Remember once you are back with a bang you can always compensate with more workouts to avoid sabotaging your fitness regime and weight loss efforts. *XOXO*
