Indian Lifestyle Blog - Craftsvilla World Ethnic Day

Hey guys, how are you all doing? It has been a while, I did an outfit post and that too, ethnic wear.
Since the world ethnic day is commemorated every year on 19th June, 2018. There is no better way to celebrate it by representing the state I am from and connecting back to the roots.
It is beautiful how diverse India is and deeply rooted to various cultures, languages and food. In ancient Punjab region, women usually wore cotton clothing. Punjabi suit is the contemporary dress of women in Punjab.  Punjab's rich and exuberant culture is evident in the dresses and sumptuous food. Punjabi suits with embroidered yoke and patalia suits have been the wardrobe staple of Punjab.
Various types of dresses are worn depending on the events, festivities and ceremonies. The outfit is still retained but now evolved into different forms, silhouettes and styles.
I got a chance to collaborate with Craftsvilla. There is a series of festivities by Craftsvilla on the occasion of #CraftsvillaWorldEthnicDay inspiring people to bring out their ethnic west.
In the outfit, I am wearing salwar kameez (Indian wear) in yellow hues. This is apt for all the occasions including casual wear and wedding functions. I hope you like it.
