Indian Fashion Blog - Restaurant Review - Mediterra

I was quite surprised that I did not know Mediterra existed in Bandra. It has been a year now. It is centrally located above The Barbecue Nation opposite Marks and Spencers on Hill Road.
The ambience is lively and fun. Even on a weekday, it was swarmed with people. I loved their interiors with furniture in blue and white hues and colorful cushions. Although, the terrace seating would have been better.
We started with Badshahi Tashrari, non-veg platter which took around 20 minutes to come but was cooked to perfection. We recommended the chef to give us small portions so we could try various dishes. We tried hummus without pita and V tried garlic bread.
With our tummies intrigued and taste buds piqued, we waited for our mains. While I enjoyed Lebanese Roast Chicken, V relished his  Nalli Nihari chicken with some bread. He was in cheat meal mode and I usually stick to clean eating and eyeing only protein-packed food. I skipped the rice and Lebanese Roast Chicken was executed well and lived up to my expectation.

Badshahi Tashrari (840 INR)
V ordered Nalli Nihari - Lucknowi Style Chicken (Chef's Speciality)
Lebanese Roast Chicken - Wood fired half skin chicken served on the best of lamb minced rice and harrisa (390 INR)
Hummus with Pita (We ditched the Pita)

Verdict:
The place has everything from comfort food to healthy food and caters to all the people. The open-air terrace seating with sheesha is their USP which attracts the crowd. If you looking for culinary marvels, chill vibes and music then look no further than Mediterra.

What I like?
The lively ambience that will cheer you up and soothe your frazzled nerves.
- There is something for everyone on the menu as it is quite diversified and does not only focus on Mediterranean cuisine.
- Prime location takes away the brownie points. You may want to go early to get a table.
- Sheesha being served is another winner for all the youngsters here in Mediterra. There are not many places in Bandra serving quality sheesha.

What I don’t like?
- They can surely work on their service as it is quite slow.
- The alfresco seating on the outside could be surely revamped.
- I did not really like the sheesha, though.

Fit As A Fiddle recommends:
Badshahi Tashrari, non-veg platter
Lebanese Roast Chicken (You can go easy on the rice)
- Roasted Garlic Hummus with Pita (You can ditch the bread to avoid carbs)
