Indian Fashion Blog - Himalaya Skin Care Hamper

December is the month to party and there are so many things to look forward to. I know it is not really cold in the month of December in Mumbai. However, due to so many events, parties and late nights your skin care goes for a toss.

I am glad Himalaya sent across their Winter skin care hamper. Since I have always been into natural products at least for skin care. I love to blog about the real things and promote products which I firmly believe in. There is nothing like trying ayurvedic products enriched with herbal goodness for personal daily skin care needs.

It's been approximately 2 weeks since I have started using Himalaya Herbals Winter Care Range and I have absolutely no complaints till now! To begin with, Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Lotions range is a must-have product in your winter care kit. Cocoa butter Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Lotion is my favourite one.
In the Image: Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Lotion (140 INR)
Himalaya Herbals Skin Cream (125 INR)
Himalaya Herbals Whitening Day Cream (250 INR)
Himalaya Herbals Revitalizing Night Cream (200 INR)
Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm (125 INR)

Verdict:
- I love the body lotions and there are different flavours according to the skin. Cocoa butter is my favourite. It smells like chocolate, very refreshing in the morning and is extremely moisturising. One of my cousins also came from Austria and loved the cocoa lotion. I made her pick up a couple of products from their range.
- Nourishing Skin Cream is like body butter and slightly thicker. It is best to use during the night. It gets absorbed instantly without leaving any sticky feeling.
- Honestly, I have my different skin care regime but I loved their day and night cream. It is always nice to keep switching your skin care regime.
The day cream is nice and light in texture. I use vitamin C serum and pack it with this day cream. A good moisturiser is a must-have in every girl's beauty arsenal. This cream not only keeps your skin hydrated all day long but can also be used as a base to keep your make-up intact. I am not really sure if it actually does anything with the whitening thing, though.
- In the night, I have usually been using retinol serum and Seba Med moisturising cream but now switched to this Himalaya Herbals Revitalizing Night Cream.

What I like:
- The entire range is really pocket-friendly and easy on the wallet.
- It is definitely ayurvedic and takes away all the brownie points as it is enriched with herbal goodness.
- I am definitely buying Himalaya’s new Cocoa Butter again. It not only provides day-long nourishment but seeps through the cracks of your skin and deeply nourishes it from within.

What I Didn't like:
- I am not really fond of the lip balms, though. I have always been sticking to petroleum Jelly. You can give it a miss!
