Indian Fashion Blog - Wellness Wednesday Menu at JW Marriott Mumbai 
They say there is no happiness quite like culinary happiness. My happiness knew no bounds when I had a lunch date with healthy food at one of my favorite places in Mumbai - Lotus Cafe in JW Marriott, which remains classy as always. There is nothing like soothing your grumpy olfactory nerves with healthy food for some mid-week respite. 

The specially curated menu comprises of live hot and cold stations where you can take your pick from Omega-6 grills with options like Norwegian Salmon, Shimla Trout and Mackerel with veggies. 

We started with salads and grilled chicken tikka to begin with. You can make your own healthy broth as well. While I am not a broth person, V got his broth made with buckwheat noodles. I ordered whole wheat shawarma with extra chicken and hummus. V ordered fish. A totally healthy experience indeed!  

I personally didn't have a good experience at Arola when I went for my birthday dinner and for the Dimsum fest but however this meal really makes up to all of that, especially for a fitness fanatic like me. You do not have to worry about piling on pounds while eating out. Make sure you gorge on protein rich foods, veggies or good carbs while keeping calories and portion control in mind.

Desserts - granola yoghurt, gluten free tea cake, dark chocolate flour-less cake and granola bars. 

The fish didn't disappoint at all as promised giving us the essential fatty acids (omega 3 & omega 6) in the healthiest way. Though the live counter catches the eye of all the fish lovers you should definitely try goan fish curry. While salmon and spinach was little bland for my liking I cannot stop raving about the goan fish curry. 
While my tummy intrigued for the mains I enjoyed whole wheat shawarmas that scored high on taste along with goan fish curry and grilled veggies. V relished "sarson da saag" with "makki ki roti" for some good carbs.  
The desserts were to die for. Not going overboard with calories and not letting down my guard around sugar cravings I nibbled on granola bar and dark chocolate flour-less cake. 

Verdict: Chill vibes and healthy eats. What more could I ask for?
The Wellness Wednesday buffet has been going on for 2 months now and they plan to continue for few more weeks only. If you looking for a divine and guilt free culinary experience, than look no further than lunching at Lotus Cafe, JW Marriott. 

 What I like?
- The star of the evening was fish including goan fish curry. Though many of you might not have a thing for it you could go for salmon and other grilled fish. 
My healthy recommendations for clean eating: 
- Grilled veggies with truffle oil and Arugula salad
- Grilled fish
- Healthy broth with buckwheat noodles or quinoa
- Whole wheat shawramas 


 What I didn't like? 

- Practically nothing but honestly of course it is exorbitantly priced. However worth it especially when it is a guilt free indulgence.
